    Role Description

    This is a full-time on-site role located in San Antonio, TX. As a Technical Team Lead specializing in FastAPI and Python, you will be responsible for leading a team of developers to design, develop, and maintain high-quality software solutions. You will work closely with cross-functional teams (Hyniva Onsite, Offshore, and Client) to understand business requirements and collaborate on developing new features and enhancements. Also, you will provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior team members, participate in code reviews, troubleshoot production issues for solutions, and ensure that development best practices are followed.

    Qualifications

    • Extensive experience with FastAPI and Python for Web Development
    • Strong understanding of FastAPI framework and API design guidelines for APIs in Python
    • Proficiency in Python programming language and understanding of object-oriented programming (OOP) principles
    • Extensive Relational and Hierarchical/Graphical database design principles and implementation knowledge using MySql, Postgres, Dynamo DB, etc
    • Understanding of multi-tenancy architecture patterns and considerations
    • wareness of security best practices for web application development, including data encryption, input validation, and protection against common web vulnerabilities
    • Experience with CI/CD (Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment) pipelines for automated testing and deployment.
    • Proficiency in containerization technologies like Docker for packaging and deploying applications.
    • Familiarity with infrastructure as code tools like AWS CloudFormation
    • Understanding of monitoring tools like AWS CloudWatch for monitoring application performance and resource utilization.
    • Knowledge of logging frameworks like Python's logging module for capturing and analyzing application logs.
    • Proven track record of leading technical teams and delivering high-quality software solutions
    • Solid understanding of software development principles, Agile development methodologies, and best practices
    • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

    The compensation for this position is $110,000 to $135,000 per year, depending on experience and qualifications. Employees are also eligible for a performance-based bonus or to participate in a performance-based incentive plan. This position is eligible for a benefits package including medical, dental, and vision insurance, & paid holidays, and 13 days accrued PTO.
