    Holiday Inn Washington-Capitol National Mall is constantly on the lookout for top-notch professionals in the field. Situated minutes away from DC attractions, government offices, and major businesses, we offer a prime location.

    Role Overview:

    Handling the sales of hotel rooms and event spaces, while supporting the daily operations of the Sales Department.

    Compensation: $90,000 - $100,000 per year

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Develop and implement sales strategies to meet revenue targets, expand market share, and enhance guest satisfaction.
    • Build strong relationships with key clients and decision-makers to drive recurring business.
    • Acquire new accounts through various methods to surpass revenue objectives.
    • Represent the hotel to potential clients seeking room rentals, event spaces, and other services.
    • Meet or exceed sales targets and engage in weekly sales meetings.
    • Work with the marketing team to create and execute marketing plans.
    • Monitor market trends and adjust strategies accordingly.
    • Collaborate with other departments to ensure a consistent brand image.
    • Communicate effectively with other teams and align strategies with business goals.
    • Maximize rates and drive business during off-peak periods.
    • Participate in sales initiatives and promptly respond to leads.
    • Be knowledgeable about hotel facilities and local attractions.
    • Adhere to all hotel rules and regulations.
    • Display flexibility by assisting in other sales-related tasks as needed.

    Qualifications:

    • Prior experience in full-service hospitality sales.
    • Supervisory background.
    • At least three years of hotel sales management experience.
    • Familiarity with sales and hospitality practices.
    • Strong prospecting and negotiation abilities.

    Skills and Traits:

    • Exceptional verbal and written communication.
    • Organizational and detail-oriented.
    • Good listening skills.
    • Proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Word.
