Are you passionate about creating top-notch digital products? Join our team at Mound Station, IL as a Digital Product Designer/Design System Expert (M/F/d) and share your expertise with us.


Responsibilities:

  • Act as a strong advocate for the end user, bridging the gap between user experience, design systems, and technical implementation.
  • Elevate existing design systems to new levels, both creatively and technically, or develop new ones.
  • Ensure the visual quality of design systems and CMS implementation.
  • Handle all UX and design/interface tasks that arise during the development of our complex website projects.
  • Collaborate closely with product managers and engineers.

Requirements:

  • You are a technically skilled designer with a passion for contemporary design, attention to detail, and typography.
  • Extensive experience in designing and implementing design systems.
  • Ability to understand and communicate with frontend developers, and challenge them when necessary.
  • Familiarity with various design and prototyping methods and tools, particularly Figma.
  • A team player with excellent communication and presentation skills, proactive and positive attitude.
  • Fluent in English, knowledge of German is a plus.

Nice to have:

  • Completed vocational training as a Media Designer, degree in Communication Design, or similar.
  • Familiarity with Agile methodology, such as Scrum or Kanban.
