    You will join a diverse, cross-functional team working to bring the most advanced precision metal 3D printing technology to market.

    We are looking for a Staff Mechanical Engineer with a successful track record driving the development of complex robotic/mechatronic systems from initial requirements through production release and support.

    The ideal candidate will have a couple of these cycles successfully completed in their career and share a deep understanding of the product development process.

    They will also have held a leadership role in doing so.

    Responsibilities IncludeIdeation, engineering, design, and integration of mechanical and mechatronic subsystems for innovative materials processing and automated process controlThorough technical documentation of designs and release to productionSupport Manufacturing and Customer Success in DFM/DFA issues and customer bugsProject scoping, planning, and risk managementPerform project management, responsible for schedules and budgetsMentor junior engineersAbout You8+ years of experience in machine designBS in Mechanical EngineeringExpertise in engineering robotic/mechatronic equipment including specification, design, prototyping, and BOM and documentation managementDemonstrable experience developing complex capital equipment from concept to productionDemonstrable project and team leadership experienceExpert SolidWorks userBonus QualificationsMaster's Degree in Mechanical EngineeringPDM AdministrationManagement experienceMantle BenefitsCompetitive compensationGenerous PTO, 11 paid company holidaysComprehensive medical, dental, and vision insuranceLife and disability insurancePaid parental leaveEquity and 401(k) planRegular team lunches and eventsThe pay range for this role is $170,000 - $180,000 per year and is commensurate with experience relative to the position.
