    Description

    Summary:The Marketing Specialist (Practice Liaison) is responsible for the outreach to and relationships with Physicians, Office Managers, front desk staff, community organizations and other potential referral sources. The Marketing Specialist (Practice Liaison) supports practice growth via ongoing communication and customer service to our client network and is a key participant in the endorsement of company-wide values, processes, and service standards.

    Generate new referral sources and effectively manage and continuously improve those that already exist.

    Leads initiatives designed to build volume and create favorable provider perceptions among referral sources.

    Build and strengthen relationships with direct referral sources, physicians, office managers, referral coordinators and other office staff.


    Establishes and maintains ongoing communications with referring providers and/or their office staff via routine or follow-up visits, emails and phone calls.

    Promote a positive image for the practice and its referral sources.

    Able to maintain detailed documentation including marketing statistics and results by utilizing marketing software.

    Represent the practice at community functions.

    Actively develop and pursue referral sources, as well as facilitate on-going relationships with medical and health communities.

    Support the goals of referral growth through direct referral source satisfaction, education and communication.

    Assist in implementing marketing strategies to grow programs/services, as identified in the organization's strategic plan.


    Education: Bachelor's degree, or equivalent education/experience

    Experience: 1-2 years of Sales or Marketing experience preferred; healthcare experience a plus.

    Highly creative and experience in identifying target audiences and developing content which engage, inform and motivate

    Knowledge of HIPAA guidelines, practices and procedures

    Superior relationship management and interpersonal skills

    Outstanding written and oral communication skills; ability to communicate effectively to a small or large audience.

    Superior organizational and time-management skills; ability to prioritize and delegate responsibilities.

    Knowledge of medical billing, EMR/PMS/CRM systems preferred.

    Demonstrated ability to exhibit a superior level of professionalism and exercise good judgment at all times.

    Willingness to travel up to 80%.

    Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic organization.
