In recent decades, we have become a top automotive supplier with our products for chassis, body, and drive.

Through new lightweight products, materials, and manufacturing technologies, we offer innovative solutions for lighter vehicles in close collaboration with our customers and scientific institutions.

We create groundbreaking innovations and set international standards.

As a family-owned company with high flexibility, short decision-making processes, and a long-term strategy, we employ over 14,000 employees at 50 locations in 18 countries worldwide.

Your responsibilities will include:

We are looking to fill this position as soon as possible through a bachelor's or master's thesis in the field of drive shafts at our location in Weitefeld.

Drive shafts are important vehicle components in cars.

In order to further reduce weight, the shafts are designed with thin walls in the middle section and thick walls at the end.

The torsional stiffness should be maintained, and static and dynamic requirements remain. The production costs of the lightweight shaft should not increase.

The goal of this work is to develop an economical method for producing such a shaft geometry. This will involve conducting a market analysis of suitable processes and evaluating them.

We are looking for someone with:

  • A degree in mechanical engineering, materials science, or a related field
  • Ambition and diligence
  • Independence
  • Teamwork, responsibility, and dedication
  • Attention to detail and accuracy
At Mubea, we offer you a guided and secure entry into the company with diverse and responsible tasks.
