Duties:

This position is located with the G6 in Phoenix, Arizona.

Its purpose is to perform technical, life-cycle, trends, and cost-benefit analysis, develop information plans and programs for the state manage the information management internal controls program, analyze proposed changes to determine program impact, determine resource requirements, and perform budget management functions and administrative actions for the organization.


The Resource Budget Analyst at the Arizona National Guard's G6 department in Phoenix, Arizona, plays a crucial role in managing project budgets and ensuring financial efficiency.

Collaborating closely with project managers, stakeholders, and finance teams, the Analyst develops, monitors, and analyzes project budgets to align with organizational objectives.


Requirements:


Conditions of Employment:


  • Federal employment suitability as determined by a background investigation.
  • Participation in the Direct Deposit/Electronic Funds Transfer Program.
  • May be required to successfully complete a probationary period.
  • Males born after 31 December 1959 must be registered for Selective Service.
  • Incumbent must possess and maintain a current state driver's license.
  • Incumbent must possess or be able to obtain a Secret Security Clearance within one year of appointment.
  • Incumbent must have a valid state driver's license for the state in which they live or are principally employed.
  • Irregular (compensatory) hours may be required to support operational requirements or contingencies or may be required to work hours outside of the normal duty day.
  • Selected individual must be awarded a secret security clearance within one year of appointment.
  • THIS IS A FINANCIAL MANAGEMENT LEVEL 2 Certified position designated as such in accordance with the National Defense Authorization Act (NDAA) 2012,
- (cont.) Public Law 112-81, Subtitle F-Financial Management, section 1051, amending 10 United States Code, section 1599d.
- (cont.) Incumbent of this position is required to comply with all Department of Defense and Department of the Army requirements of this certification program.


Qualifications:


SPECIALIZED EXPERIENCE:

Must have at least 24 months experience which has provided a working knowledge of the National Guard organizational structures, functions, procedures, and techniques.

Experience analyzing, interpreting and developing policies and procedures of local management.


Education:


You must provide transcripts or other documentation to support your Educational claims. To receive credit for Education, you must provide documentation of proof that you meet the Education requirements for this position.
