    JOB SUMMARY:

    Optimizing production manufacturing processes through developing, planning, and implementing improvements that positively impact safety, quality, labor, and delivery utilizing engineering principles.Responsible for Chassis and EV departments.

    ESSENTIAL FUNCIONS:

    • Production line technical support
    • Provide necessary tooling, routers, labor standards, raw material structure, make vs. buy analysis, process instructions, and technical support for the timely implementation of engineering changes
    • Accountable for achieving goals and objectives for the Mfg Engineering group and Operations organization.
    • Utilize PLM system including reviewing product design changes and assess manufacturing impact
    • Recognize labor impact with process/design changes and implement plans with little impact to Mfg departments.
    • Develop business cases, write AFEs for funding procurement
    • Develop process changes/improvements using SPC, PFMEA, and control plans
    • Utilize root cause analysis methodology to solving manufacturing issues
    • Will be working within an ISO 9000 quality system and produce documentation acceptable to the customer.
    • Document and report work activity.
    • Other duties as assigned.
    KNOWLEDGE, SKILL AND ABILITIES:
    • Balanced, dynamic, methodical approach; good work ethic, integrity, and professional conduct
    • Must demonstrate positive attitude; foster teamwork; responsive to customer/Mfg issues
    • Effective written and verbal communication skills; administrative and financial skills, excellent problem solver; able to interact with personnel in other organizations.
    • Ability to read and understand Engineering prints/drawings
    • Bus Body and Chassis assembly
    • Program management and launch
    EDUCATION AND/OR TRAINING
    • Bachelor's degree in Engineering from Accredited University
    • Minimum 2 years experience in manufacturing, automotive preferred
    • Must possess excellent planning and organization skills
    • Past experience in Production Supervision a plus
    • Competent user of MS Office products
    WORKING CONDITIONS
    • Manufacturing environment with exposure to heat, cold and noise
    • Weekends and Travel as required
