    MRI TECHNOLOGIST WANTED - Full Time - Day/Evening


    The Danbury Hospital Outpatient center is seeking an Experienced MRI Technologist to work 8 hour shifts Monday - Friday between 7:30am - 8 pm with rotating Saturdays 7:30 am - 3PM.

    We are part of Nuvance and are a dynamic and growing hospital system.

    Candidates with ARRT certification and with 1 year of experience are urged to apply. Our ideal candidate will have 3 years of MRI experience with an ultrasound or CT Scan background.     Summary:
    Performs MRI procedures to help physicians in the care of their patients. This supports the hospital's objective of quality patient care and patient-centered awareness.


    Responsibilities:

    • Provides optimum patient care.
    • Demonstrates knowledge and technical expertise to safely & correctly operate MRI equipment.
    • Performs and records # for daily QA.
    • Develops skills to practice in a safe, clinical environment.
    • Develops skills in Contrast Administration.
    • Demonstrates self direction and utilizes problem solving techniques.
    • Knows the role of a MRI technologist as a member of the healthcare team and functions as a competent & compassionate MRI technologists.
    • Cross trained in another modality (CAT scan, mammography, or bone density testing).
    • Maintains technical competency in the following less frequent order procedure (2 or more years experience).
    • Fulfills all compliance responsibilities related to the position.
    • Performs other duties as assigned.
