Description

Project Site Communication and Coordination:
May support others in the scheduling of trade contractors to coordinate start-up services as needed. Adhere to local, corporate, and OSHA safety policies and procedures.

Troubleshoot and resolve issues associated to fire alarm systems
Identify risk to customers and provide effective solutions
Conduct routine preventative maintenance on alarm systems
Monitor inventory of service parts

Qualifications:

Previous experience in the fire alarm industry
Previous experience programming fire alarm systems including voice fire alarm systems
Familiarity with hand and power tools including multi meters
Ability to handle physical workload
Strong troubleshooting and critical thinking skills
Strong attention to detail
Organization skills
High school diploma or staterecognized GED; Associate degree in electronics or related field preferred but not required
Experience in the installation and maintenance of fire safety products; 5+ years preferred but not required
Ability to read and understand design and construction documents
Ability to work in a variety of circumstances, including climbing ladders, scaffolds, and highlift equipment; working in ducts, crawl spaces, roofs, basements, above ceilings, and in outside/inside/heat/cold/day/night conditions
Must be able to differentiate types/colors of wire
Must be able to carry and move equipment and tools weighing up to 75 pounds unassisted
Ability to work in a team environment providing dedicated support to our customers
Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel and Outlook)
Good verbal and written communication skills in English
Qualified applicants must be legally authorized for employment in the United States
Possess a valid driver's license with limited violations
