    HiFyve is hiring for a Maintenance Electrician in Mount Prospect, IL

    Pay: $40+/hr (negotiable)

    Shift: 5am-2pm (flexible up to 7am-4pm) M-F, very little OT

    Daily Tasks and Responsibilities:

    • Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair various production, tool room, and material handling equipment
    • Handle stamping presses, automatic coiling, punch press, multi-slide, 4-slide, grinding, heat treating, and other machines
    • Disassemble equipment as needed, replace or rebuild defective components, and ensure proper reassembly
    • Rebuild production machines by checking and replacing worn parts, conducting tests, and making adjustments
    • Address building heating, ventilation, air conditioning, air compressor, and environmental control system issues
    • Analyze problems, disassemble units, replace faulty components, and conduct tests for proper functionality
    • Install, repair, and maintain electrical power lines, control panels, circuits, and PLUs
    • Perform preventive maintenance tasks such as oiling, lubricating, and changing filters on conveyors and equipment
    • Install new equipment, including power, water, and air connections, load balancing, and safety device installation
    • Undertake miscellaneous building maintenance tasks: electrical, carpentry, plumbing, cement, and roof work
    • Conduct maintenance inspection tours and update corresponding logs
    • Follow lockout/tag-out procedures when working on machines or equipment
    • Use a forklift for the removal and installation of machine subassemblies

    Requirements:

    • 6-10 years of mechanical and electrical experience in manufacturing required
    • Demonstrated safety record and strong work ethic
    • Flexible for 1st or modified 1st shift, with possible overtime
    • Proficient in troubleshooting and repairing electrical panels, circuits, and PLCs
    • Skilled in mechanical repairs, stamping presses, multi-slides, spring machines, and heat treat ovens
    • Knowledgeable in pneumatic and hydraulic systems
    • Ability to read electrical and mechanical prints
    • Capable of operating milling machines, lathes, and related tools with precision
    • Competent in building maintenance tasks
    • Proficient in using various machine tools, electrical test meters, and welding equipment
    • Able to lift 50 pounds unassisted and stand/kneel for extended periods
