Title: Maintenance Electrician III

Location: North Chicago, IL

Type: Contract-to-Hire

Pay: $ $43.00/hour + Full Benefits

Hours: 6:00 AM - 6:30 PM, 4 days on/4 days off

Job Summary:

This senior-level role provides technical support and training within the maintenance department, enhancing equipment reliability and performance.

Responsibilities:

Maintain and improve equipment functionality to meet quality standards.
Train junior technicians in advanced maintenance tasks.
Participate in root cause analysis and maintenance strategy development.
Support continuous improvement and safety projects.
Conduct routine tests and maintenance on electrical systems and components.
Troubleshoot and repair UPS systems, motor control centers, and related electrical equipment.
Ensure compliance with Electrical Standards, NEC, and GMP regulations.
Knowledgeable in the operation of Soft Starts and Variable Frequency Drives (VFDs).

Qualifications:

High School Diploma with 10+ years, or Certificate with 5+ years, or Associate's Degree with 3+ years of electrical maintenance experience.
CMRT or similar accreditation preferred.
Proficiency in MS Windows and use of advanced diagnostic and predictive tools.
