    Position: Registered Nurse - PCU
    Unit: ONS (Observation Nursing Services)
    Location: Rapid City, South Dakota
    Agency: Tekaccel Healthcare Staffing
    Assignment Length: 13 weeks
    Total Hours: 468 hours
    Weekly Hours: 36 hours
    Shift: 12-hour Nights
    Start Date: ASAP
    Salary: $2088 per week


    Required Certifications
    • RN: Active Registered Nurse license
    • BLS: Basic Life Support
    • ACLS: Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support
    • NIHSS: NIH Stroke Scale certification
    • Covid: Certification related to COVID-19 protocols

    Job Requirements
    • Experience:
      • Comfortability to take MedSurg assignments is essential.
      • Previous experience with Intermediate Care (IMC)/Stepdown and Neuro patients.
      • Ability to read/interpret cardiac strips.
      • Proficiency in wound care, line management, drain/tube management.
      • Experience in drip titration of medications including Heparin, Insulin, Cardizem, Amiodarone, Levophed (up to 5 mcg), and occasionally esmolol drips (training provided if necessary).
