    Experience:

    • Minimum 12 months of role experience required
    • Minimum 18 months of Progressive Care Unit experience required
    • Preferably, experience with Epic

    Requirements:

    • Must have a South Dakota or compact license
    • Flexibility to float to multiple units when needed
    • Live at least 100 miles away from the facility to be eligible
    • COVID vaccination mandatory (exemptions accepted)

    Additional Details:

    • Guaranteed 48 hours per week
    • First-time travelers accepted with 2+ years of experience
    • Handle various patient types in a mixed acuity unit

    Required Education:

    Completion of an approved nursing education program; RN - South Dakota Board of Nursing

    Skills required:

    PCU level RN with specific cardiac procedural recovery experience and skills

    Floating: Primarily to sister unit, General PCU, and other relevant units

    Scheduling:

    • Weekend rotation every other week
    • No on-call duty
    • Holiday expectations every other holiday
    • Up to 7 days off, with restrictions during Sturgis Bike Rally

    Certifications:

    • ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support)
    • BLS (Basic Life Support)
    • NIHSS (NIH Stroke Scale)
