    Accounting Assistant
    Clearwater, FL

    About the Company Looking for an Accounting Assistant:
    • Our client is a dynamic, leading employer in the recreation organization seeking an Accounting Clerk to add to their growing team.
    • Beautiful corporate office in downtown Clearwater with bay views

    RESPONSIBILITIES of the ACCOUNTING ASSISTANT:

    • The Accounting Clerk will contribute to the accounts payable and receivable departments, dealing with invoices and some billing
    • The Accounting clerk will complete regular bank/account reconciliations
    • Create and edit journal entries and work within the GL
    • Support with other duties as needed in the department
    EXPERIENCE PREFERRED for the Accounting Assistant:
    • 1+ years of accounting experience, with a good foundation of GAAP
    • Hard-working, a quick learner, and a team player
    • Microsoft Dynamics experience +++
    • Excel proficiency is required
