We are looking for an open-minded and analytical person who enjoys working in a team and quickly adapts to new topics for this position. If you enjoy participating in exciting projects and have an interest in compliance issues, then you are welcome to join Aareal Bank.

Here's what you can expect:

  • You will monitor and coordinate legal and regulatory requirements, particularly the processes for compliance with AT 4.4.2 MaRisk, while considering group-wide standards and local specificities
  • You will also support the development and improvement of compliance methods and standards within the group, including the Compliance Management System
  • Your responsibilities will also include coordinating the legal inventory and ensuring compliance with new or amended norms and regulations
  • In collaboration with relevant units, you will also contribute to the development and adaptation of written regulations and underlying processes
  • Lastly, you will assist in managing and supporting specialized projects

Here's what we're looking for:

  • A degree in law, business administration, economics, business law, or a related field
  • Ideally, some professional experience in auditing, banking, finance, or consulting - e.g. through internships or student jobs
  • Fluent in German and English, with additional languages being a plus
