Support/Hourly - Position - Clerk - Campus

Primary Purpose:

To maintain student records and schedules and to handle all mainframe computer needs for counselors.

Qualifications:

High school diploma or equivalent from an accredited institution (required)
Two years clerical experience.
Previous computer experience

Special Knowledge/Skills:

Proficiency in all general office skills.
Be self-motivated, organized, and exhibit good interpersonal and telephone skills
Some school experience preferred

Major Responsibilities and Duties:

Maintain scheduling and student demographic data on computer.
- Make changes as directed by counselors or assistant principal(s)
- Enter new students on the computer.
Maintain student grades on computer
- Collects, organizes, and submits grade scan sheets to Computer Technology Department
- Receives teachers' grade verification sheets and distributes to teachers
- Makes grade changes from corrected verification sheets or teacher's reports of completed grades.
Orders printouts from Computer Technology Department.

Shared Responsibilities and Duties:

Assists with the processing of student folders and transcripts
Assists with filing of folders
Assists in entering attendance as needed
Assists in clinic as needed.

Performs other duties as assigned.
