What You Will Do

We are looking for a high energy, highly motivated, and creative person to join the team as our National Account Manager, Mass. The National Account Manager, Mass is responsible for delivering the revenue, distribution and trade funding objectives for the channel in accordance with company sales plans and budgets. This individual must be an experienced, motivated, inspired, organized, creative, willing to roll up their sleeves with a strong work ethic. This individual will report to and partner with Director of Sales, Mass to rapidly scale the business.

Responsibilities

Achieve Fiscal Year Financials

• Deliver key financial metrics versus Plan, within aligned trade spend plan
• Account Plan management: contribute to both current year and long-range plan forecasts

Customer Development & Execution

• Achieve business objectives for:
  • Merchandising
  • Assortment
  • Pricing
  • Shelving
• Own the forecast, in partnership with the Business Analytics Team & guided by Director of Sales
• Advise commercialization team on new items/fixtures/shippers that will deliver on Mass goals
• Partner with the Director of Sales to build long range plan; bring thought leadership on growth opportunities.
• Partner cross functionally to effectively engage and leverage resources to achieve business objectives
  • Broker teams for Walmart and Target
  • Shopper Marketing & Retail Activation teams to build support programs for your customers
  • eCommerce team on best-in-class content/PDPs for your customer's websites
  • Finance team on the Month End Close initiatives
  • Business Analytics Team on volume and trade forecasting
  • Sales Ops team on PO execution; troubleshooting when necessary
• Customer Meeting Support:
  • Monthly meetings with key buyers
  • Support, and eventually lead, quarterly strategy meetings (line reviews, etc.)
  • Deepen retailer relationships, building partnership & trust
• Monthly Mass Newsletter: create a one-pager to share sale performance/growth initiatives internally at Chomps, with the goal of both looping in our leadership team and sparking cross functional growth initiatives

Who You Are

• 4+ years of experience in Consumer Packaged Goods industry
• Previously experience working with or at key retailers: Target and/or Walmart
• Excellent interpersonal, networking and relationship building skills This person can start conversations with anyone and create a positive association with Chomps brand
• Very strong team player, ability to work with cross-functional teams to get results
• Experience in sales planning, trade management and forecasting
• Ability to multi-task and work in fast-paced, high demand environment
• Self-sufficient and highly detailed oriented
• Passion for natural and organic products
• Ability to travel for trade shows, sales calls, and meetings – approximately 25% of time through the year
• Bachelor's degree
• Must be an analytical thinker and data-driven; strong data analysis skills and experience working with IRI/Nielsen and/or Retail POS data
• Have worked with trade management and demand planning software
• Strong PC skills including online applications, MS Office
• Location: greater Bentonville or Minneapolis preferred
• You take your work seriously, but yourself lightly

Location: Remote + travel requirements

Type: Full-Time, exempt

Salary Range Opportunity:

• The salary range for this role is $110,000 - $115, % annual bonus

Compensation Philosophy & Total Comp:

• Our salary ranges are based on verified market data and our philosophy of paying competitively for our size and industry
• Individual pay rate decisions are based on several factors, including qualifications for the role, experience level, skillset, and balancing internal equity relative to peers at the company
• In addition to base salary, full-time team members receive medical, dental, and vision insurance, 401K 6% match, and monthly reimbursements for wellness and home office.
