    Summary of the Role: MMNA (Mitsubishi Motors North America) is searching for a dedicated District Sales Manager to join our dynamic Southeast Region Sales team. In this pivotal role, you'll collaborate closely with MMNA dealerships in the Southeast region, particularly focusing on Virginia Beach & Coastal Carolinas, to optimize sales performance and enhance customer satisfaction.   • Attain district wholesale and retail sales objectives
  • Contact dealerships and coordinate wholesale, retail vehicle, and accessory sales activities with dealer principal, general manager and/or department managers
  • Develop and maintain an effective, professional long-term relationship with dealers within the assigned district
  • Communicate with dealerships and provide consistent direction of policies, procedures, etc.
  • Monitor dealers adherence with policies and procedures, and participation in sales, marketing, and advertising programs
  • Advise ASM and Zone management of non-compliance situations and recommend solutions
  • Analyze individual dealership sales, market penetration, and vehicle inventory
  • Develop and recommend marketing/promotional strategies to assist dealership in maximizing wholesale/retail sales volume, profitability, and customer satisfaction
  • Coordinate, plan, and implement sales strategy with knowledge and cooperation of district counterparts
  • Calmly respond in highly stressful business conditions
  • Effectively manage multiple priorities and meet stated deadlines while delivering quality results
  • Regular attendance at work on a full-time schedule of at least 8 hours daily and 40 hours weekly
  • Other duties as assigned or required
  • Location of Position: The district this position supports is Virginia Beach and the Coastal Carolinas. The ideal candidate must live in the district. Required Qualifications:
  • 5+ years of professional exempt level automotive retail/wholesale experience including 3+ years as a District Sales Manager
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Prior automotive retail sales experience such as Sales Representative, Sales Manager, F&I Manager
  • Extensive travel is often required
  • Must maintain a valid unconditional driver's license and an approved driving record
