    Overview:

    The Director of Communications, reporting to the Chief Marketing Officer, is responsible for developing a cohesive communications strategy for the brand. This includes overseeing communications across all channels: public relations, social media, and content creation, maintaining brand integrity and maximizing opportunities across different platforms. The role aims to reinforce the brand's vision to drive business objectives.

    Position Responsibilities

    • In collaboration with the Creative Director, develop and execute communication campaigns across all platforms for cohesive messaging and increased social impact, with clear KPIs and measurements.
    • Lead the PR and communications strategy execution, driving press coverage and brand awareness through impactful campaigns and editorial coverage in various media channels.
    • Plan and execute the social media vision to enhance brand discovery and customer engagement, including overseeing the social media calendar, influencer strategies, and paid social activities.
    • Manage content creation and brand storytelling agenda in partnership with the Brand's Creative Director.
    • Create and execute event strategies for key initiatives such as product launches, branded events, and press previews.
    • Handle media inquiries, draft press releases, oversee press kit distribution, and secure placements in various media formats.
    • Manage advertising buys for print, digital, and social media, and oversee content creation.
    • Recruit, manage, and develop PR, Communications, and Content teams, ensuring their engagement and growth.
    • Manage financial budgets for PR, Communications, and Content, seeking cost-saving opportunities.
    • Track and compile press coverage for domestic and international markets, staying updated on the luxury retail landscape and consumer trends.

    Position Qualifications

    • Minimum 8 years of Public Relations and Social Media experience
    • Proactive, creative, and organized with excellent communication skills
    • Results-driven, team-oriented with luxury experience preferred
    • Bachelor's degree
