- Manage the dispatching of moving crews, coordinating schedules, and optimizing routes to maximize efficiency.
- Account for all details related to each move, including inventory, equipment, and personnel requirements.
- Ensure timely communication with customers, keeping them informed throughout the moving process and addressing any concerns or inquiries.
- Supervise and support moving crews, providing guidance and assistance as needed to ensure high-quality service delivery.
- Collaborate with the accounting department to accurately track expenses, invoices, and payments associated with each move.
- Proactively identify potential challenges or issues and implement effective solutions to maintain smooth operations.
- Maintain a safe working environment by enforcing company policies and procedures, as well as industry regulations and best practices.
- Assist with estimating moving costs and providing quotes to customers.
- Handle incoming calls, inquiries, and scheduling requests.
- Participate in moving operations as needed, including loading, unloading, and transporting items.
- Prior experience in a similar role within the moving or logistics industry preferred.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a customer-focused approach.
- Proficiency in using computer software and applications for scheduling, dispatching, and record-keeping.
- Physical stamina and ability to perform manual labor as required during moving operations.
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
