    Position Summary

    Responsible for implementing SAP-related activities within the Quality Systems Applications and Data Analysis group, this role necessitates proficiency in analyzing solution designs, project implementations, and maintaining master data accuracy to support Supply Chain Planning activities for Grifols Biologicals.

    Desired experience includes technical, functional, and process expertise to drive strategic results for projects and initiatives within the Grifols organization.


    Essential Duties and Responsibilities

    • Ensure Master Data accuracy in SAP for raw materials, manufactured products, and finished goods adhering to corporate data standards.
    • Collaborate within a team environment to update SAP requirements for Production Planning and Materials Management, focusing on Segmentation, Serialization, Environmental Monitoring, Validation, Stability, Workflows, and Notifications.
    • Provide support to quality operations and control to achieve lot release targets for finished goods.
    • Administer requests for data cleansing and standardization, identifying operational improvements utilizing system functionality and metrics.
    • Maintain awareness of regulatory and industry standards.
    • Generate comprehensive reports summarizing investigations for out-of-specification results or events.
    • Participate in regulatory and internal inspections, ensuring adherence to FDA regulations.
    • Emphasize documentation according to FDA regulations.
    • Adhere to corporate safety policies.


    Required Experience, Skills & Educational Qualifications

    Bachelor's degree in relevant fields such as Business Administration, Operations Management, Chemistry, or related scientific/technical fields is required. Experience with ERP and APS systems in pharmaceutical, GMP, or FDA regulated environments is preferred.

    Proficiency in SAP, SQL, MS Access, and relational databases is essential. Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills are required with the ability to work independently and prioritize tasks effectively. Additionally, excellent interpersonal and communication skills are necessary.

    Physical Requirements

    • Ability to lift/move up to 25 pounds.
    • Capacity to sit for extended periods.
    • Manual dexterity for job functions.

    The Global Master Data Specialist role, based in Los Angeles, CA, offers an estimated annual salary of $80k-$86k plus eligibility for up to 5% of the company bonus pool. Comprehensive benefits such as medical, dental, vision, PTO, and 401(k) match are provided.
