    HBO Max originally launched in the United States in May 2020 and introduced a lower priced, advertising-supported tier in June 2021.

    It rolled out globally across Latin America and the Caribbean in 2021, followed by its first European launches in the Nordics and Spain later that year.

    Discovery introduced Max, an enhanced streaming platform, in the U.Discovery is looking for a Senior Product Manager to help prioritize and oversee product strategy and execution pertaining to identity and access for the Max and discovery+ streaming apps.

    In this key connecting role, you will collaborate with business stakeholders and a cross-functional team of Designers, Technical Program Managers and Engineers to drive new features and improvements which aim to remove customer frustration and pain points related to user identity, security, sign in, and account management across our portfolio of supported devices and platforms.

    You are an effective cross-functional team leader who can drive the successful implementation and delivery of initiatives that span multiple teams.

    Liaise with distribution, legal, marketing, customer experience, and technical teams to ensure platform guidelines, requirements and updates are communicated with an understanding of potential roadmap impact.

    Own continuous reporting on performance, including post-product release impact reports that lead to actionable plans for further optimization.
    Deep experience of launching apps on partner platforms.
    ~ High comfort level in analytics and generating business insights from data trends and user research.
    ~ Direct experience in detailed planning and prioritization of features.
    ~ Emotional intelligence and leadership skills to influence outcomes, while building a culture of teamwork and inclusiveness.
    ~ Strong communication with the ability to simplify complex concepts and provide the right level of detail to executive leaders.

    Actual salaries will vary based on several factors, including but not limited to external market data, internal equity, location, skill set, experience, and/or performance.
