    Software Engineer in Test II (SEiT II) - Job Opportunity at Fortive Corporation

    The Software Engineer in Test II (SEiT II) plays a crucial role in ensuring the quality of software through various testing techniques, both manual and automated. This individual also serves as a mentor to other quality engineers, guiding them on organizational processes, tools, and team procedures.

    Responsibilities:
    - Work within an integrated Agile scrum team. - Advocate for quality processes within the Agile scrum team. - Employ story verification techniques covering various aspects of quality. - Collaborate with the team to refine stories and ensure compliance with quality standards. - Create test plans for each story and regression tests. - Utilize automation as the primary testing approach. - Document test results, identified bugs, and follow-up on resolutions. - Identify and address quality gaps across different features.

    Requirements:
    - Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, STEM, or Business-related fields. - Experience in Quality Assurance roles within the software industry. - Knowledge of automated testing technologies in GUI, API, and/or Mobile. - Familiarity with Agile development methodology. - Proficiency in improving quality processes. - Experience with performance test requirements. - Knowledge of Git source control. - Understanding of SaaS, DevOps principles, and networking concepts. - Strong written and verbal communication skills in English.

    Desired Skills/Experience:
    - Work experience with RobotFramework, Python, Selenium. - Familiarity with Page Object Model testing framework. - Experience with Test Driven Development and/or Behavior Driven Development techniques. - Proficiency in creating and maintaining Jenkins pipelines. - Knowledge of Jira, qTest, and Jenkins. - Understanding of Docker/Kubernetes or similar container-based platforms. - Knowledge of SQL, PowerShell, ML/AI tools.
