Clinical Supervisor

Overview:

Supervise the Counselors and/or Counselor Interns who provide treatment and case management services to patients in compliance with all laws and regulations and company policies. Make sure patient services are documented promptly according to the care plan. Recognize physical, psychological, social, and spiritual needs of assigned patients. Be open to traveling whenever needed.

Key Responsibilities:

Ensure efficient and effective delivery of counseling services to all patients.
Monitor treatment and counseling of all patients.
Provide clinical supervision.
Assign counselors caseloads, adjust when necessary.
Screen potential patients and verify eligibility.
Assist with intakes when needed.
Perform quality assurance file reviews.
Complete and submit patient death reports as required.
Review and approve documentation for accuracy for the clinical team.
Maintain current and accurate clinical records in line with regulations.
Supervise all counseling staff, handle performance discussions and training.
Participate in meetings and support team goals.
Provide guidance to counselors seeking licensure/certification.
Oversee counselor trainings and ensure completion.
Manage employee attendance.
Handle stressful situations professionally.
Participate in supervisor meetings.
Communicate concerns to employees and management.
Assist in program development.
Maintain regular attendance.
Adhere to company policies and standards.
Conduct business ethically and professionally.
Perform other assigned duties.

Requirements:

Must be at least 18 years old.
Hold valid certification or license from an approved body.
Experience working with substance abuse population.
Current CPR and First Aid certification or willingness to obtain.
Strong written and oral communication skills.
Proficient in assessments, treatment planning, crisis intervention, and service coordination.
Excellent documentation and computer skills.
Knowledge of drug trends, addiction effects, treatment processes, and legal regulations.
Effective time management.
Ability to work with diverse populations and provide excellent customer service.
Familiarity with relevant State and Federal Regulations.
Meet professional standards and practices.
Positive references.
Work well within an interdisciplinary setting.
Pass a criminal background check.
Self-motivated and able to work independently.
Demonstrate keen observation and communication skills.
Flexible and cooperative mindset.
