Specialist for the recognition and certification of agencies and testing laboratories (m/f/d) (pay grade E 10 or E 11 TVöD or equivalent salary group according to BBesO) permanent position at our location in Bonn Responsibilities of the department:
The BSI commissions expert agencies to conduct conformity assessments and IT security certifications for IT products and systems. These expert agencies must be formally recognized or certified by the BSI for their testing activities.

The basic requirement for such recognition or certification is compliance with the requirements of DIN EN ISO/IEC The recognition or certification process consists of document review and an on-site evaluation of the agency.

This includes assessing the expertise of individuals as well as the quality management system. We are looking for new team members to join the #TeamBSI to support us in these tasks.


Your responsibilities include:

  • Evaluation of the quality management system, organizational and technical security measures of recognized or certified agencies on-site
  • Recognition and monitoring of expert agencies and certification and monitoring of IT security service providers
  • Support in the development of processes for the recognition or certification of agencies
  • Support in the development and implementation of new areas
