Jonathan Club is an upscale, members-only, private club located in Santa Monica on the beach.


Club facilities include food & beverage outlets both casual and fine dining, luxurious meeting spaces, and a state-of-the-art athletics facility featuring wellness programs and spa services.

These are the positions we will be interviewing for, please note that these positions pay an already established flat rate as they are non-gratuity-based positions.

As the F&B Supervisor, this position will support the Director of F&B with supervising floor service and administrative work.

This position works closely with the front of the house employees to ensure that the team provides the highest level of member/guest service.

As a Food and Beverage supervisor, you will be working in Banquets, MDR, Surfside Grill, and on the Beach for special events.

The Food and Beverage Supervisor is responsible for the following:


  • Support's F&B department heads with supervisory tasks on the floor as well as administrative duties.
  • Oversees reservation process, systems & reports.
  • Communicates to culinary and management teams all reservation details through accurate reports.
  • Has a thorough understanding of the property's capacities for bookings and oversees. training for others in the area as needed.
  • Ensures each member's satisfaction and troubleshoots any member issue as needed.
  • Follows and trains others in proper alcohol and beverage control regulations, including identification of minors.
  • Assists with events, holidays or special functions or any meal periods based on business needs.
  • Maintains a clean, orderly and safe work office area as well as in the outlets.
  • Adheres to and promotes health department standards.
  • Follows all policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.
  • Works closely with Director of F&B and F&B managers on projects in various areas.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

Requirements:


  • 12 years of supervisory experience from highend restaurants or hotels preferred.
  • 35 years of highend restaurant or luxury hotel F&B establishments.
  • Must be able to work nights, mornings, weekends and holidays.
  • Must be able to work in a highvolume operation.
