    Assistant Delivery Manager

    **Assistant Delivery Manager Overview**

    The Assistant Operations Manager will assist the Logistics Manager with directing the delivery and warehouse operations in the assigned location. This position will help with managing, scheduling, routing, unloading, staging, and inventory processes. The cornerstone of USTs growth and success is built upon the expectation that EVERY team member will Execute Excellence Every time - simply known internally as E3.

    **Responsibilities**

    ***(include, but are not limited to)***

    Oversee accurate and efficient loading of all vehicles for the delivery of retail home products to the end consumer (last mile)

    Ensures that maintenance of all delivery and service vehicles are completed

    Ensures the scheduling department achieves all daily shipping goals

    Assists the delivery department in accomplishing delivery and quality standards

    Assists Operations Manager monitor weekly reports to ensure financial objectives are being met

    Assists Operations Manager monitor weekly settlements to ensure contractors goals are being achieved

    Assists Operations Manager to ensure all operations are operating in compliance with DOT and OSHA requirements

    Conduct ride behind and evaluation of contractors to determine skill levels and development opportunities

    Ensures all claims are charged back to the appropriate driver

    Assists Operations Manager coordinate with customer service to ensure that all customers are satisfied

    Establishes and maintains a positive working relationship with all team members and other store personnel

    Scheduling, dispatching, and routing

    Oversees the warehouse and inventory control processes to ensure the inventorys integrity is maintained

    Responsible as the Acting Manager on duty when the Delivery Manager is absent

    Requirements

    High School Diploma or equivalent education

    Previous experience in Warehouse or Distribution operations

    Proficient in Microsoft Office including Word, Excel, and Outlook

    Effective written and verbal communicate

    Valid Drivers License

    Flexible Schedule Must be able to work a schedule that may include early mornings, evenings, weekends, and some holidays

    Handle all needs of the customers

    Integrity in all things
