Role Overview:

Applies electrical design knowledge, skill, and ability to create construction drawings for the project owner and provides continuous professional support throughout the entire construction process.

The ideal candidate has excellent communication and technical skills, is a team-oriented, professional self-starter, with a positive attitude and multi-tasking capability.

Key Responsibilities:
Accurately and timely produces electrical design elements consistent with project specificationsAccurately and timely produces design elements in accordance with the project hours, scope & parametersProvides research design options consistent with project requirementsAssists in the selection of appropriate equipment for project typeAssists in the preparation of other documents germane to a project with enthusiasm and professionalismProduces accurate and complete load calculations within project parametersActively participates in post-design activities through to construction completionFollows established work rules, policies, and proceduresActively engages with other members of the company to continuously strive to improve processes, create efficiencies and reduce costsCooperatively takes on other duties, roles, or responsibilities as assignedPrepares accurate and complete project correspondence

Other general office processes and procedures and project activities

Minimum Qualifications:
Knowledge of electrical engineering drafting standardsBasic knowledge of electrical engineeringSeeking a 4-year degree in electrical engineeringKnowledge of AutoCAD and/or Revit a plusGood communication skillsKnowledge of Revit preferredExcellent communication skills
