Description
As a Scrum Master with INflow, you'll get to work on cutting-edge projects that leverage the latest in cloud, DevSecOps, and agile frameworks.
This position is all about enabling our development teams to perform at their highest level. You'll facilitate key scrum events, remove impediments, and drive continuous improvement. It's a role that perfectly blends soft skills like leadership, coaching, and conflict resolution with technical know-how.Specific Duties and Responsibilities:
- Guide scrumteam through all sprints of a program increment, removing impediments and championing the team
- Organize and facilitate sprint planning and release planning, daily standups, sprint reviews, retrospectives, and other agile related events
- Track and communicate team metrics and sprint/release progress to all teams and management
- Assist the scrum team in developing and estimating user stories that are clearly articulated with welldefined acceptance criteria
- Update agile tracking systems to provide transparency on product and sprint backlogs
- Assist with internal and external communication
- Assist product owners with backlog grooming
- Assist team with making appropriate commitments through story selection and task definition
- Determine and remove impediments that interfere with the ability of the teams to deliver assigned goals
- Facilitate discussion and conflict resolution
- Promote continuous improvement and help teams to increase velocity
- Promote a collaborative team environment that fosters experimentation, creativity and innovation
Required Skills:
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related technical discipline, or the equivalent combination of education, technical certifications or training, and work experience
- 3+ years experience
- Experience leading Agile Scrum teams in a cloud environment
- Advanced knowledge of systems engineering principles, methods, and techniques
- Strong problem solving and troubleshooting skills
- Experience with Atlassian Agile Products; specifically JIRA and Confluence
- Active TS/SCI clearance required to start and must be able to obtain a CI Poly
Desired Skills:
- 3+ years of experience working within the DoD or IC Community
- Certified Scrum Master (CSM) Certification
- Scaled Agile Framework for the enterprise (SAFe) Agilist Certification
Required Clearance:
- Active DoD TS/SCI
