Description
ResponsibilitiesSentinel is seeking an experienced IT Security Operations Engineer for one of its large local partners.
As an IT Service Delivery Administrator will be responsible for delivering world class support, providing technical leadership, management, and direction to assigned site(s).
This role has a unique blend of several traditional IT roles including System Administrator, Technical support (Break/Fix), Project Management and Business Analysis.
In this position you will work independently at times and be a key stakeholder representing IT in supporting business continuous improvement and innovation projects while aligning them to IT standards and best practices.
In this position there will be opportunities for personal growth and development from working with other teams and departments.This is a fully onsite position located in South Plainfield, New Jersey.
Qualifications
Associates Degree in Computer Science or other technical field is required
5-7 years System administrator experience required
Experience in medical environment preferred
Ability to take initiative and ownership in identifying issues and proposing solutions
Knowledge of VoIP systems, particularly 3CX is a plus
Outstanding analytical, problem solving and troubleshooting ability
Experience in Cisco switches, Cisco routers and firewalls
Experience in DNS, VPN, VLAN's, and wireless networks
Knowledge with VMware, Microsoft SQL Server
Experience with Windows 7, Microsoft Office, Apple iPhones
Excellent verbal and written skills communication skills
Provide after-hours support when required critical to the business operations
Physical Requirements - Work in an office environment with varying amounts of walking, sitting, standing, twisting, and turning
The candidate must have a car, as this position requires travel between location and the transportation of equipment
A valid driver's license and proof of vehicle insurance will be required
Legally authorized to work in the US without sponsorship
Must demonstrate a "can-do" attitude

$44/hr - $56/hr
