LHH Has partnered with a nation leader in offshore wind energy to support hiring of their next Cost Estimator.

In this role you will design execution plans and develop cost estimates for large-scale dredging projects, with high-level of exposure to executive management with various growth opportunities.

The position reports to the Vice President of Estimating.

Your Role:

Produce accurate cost estimates for hard bid projects of $25M +
Review and summarize key elements of project plans and specifications
Ability to produce clear, concise overview drawings for presentation and

discussions

Ability to present the project and estimate during bid review sessions with senior

management

Demonstrate strong analytical skills and problem-solving ability in the

development of the estimate

Work closely with various support departments in a team environment
Capable of effective time-management, able to prioritize various project tasks

simultaneously.

Offer estimating support to on-site Project Managers during execution of project
Update and monitor project costs, production, and budget throughout

construction.

About You:
Minimum Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or Business

Administration or

5 + years' equivalent and relevant work experience AND
5 years of relevant experience in the dredging and/or marine construction

industry OR

5 years of relevant experience in a cost estimating position in a comparable

industry
Preferred Qualifications

Proficient in standard Microsoft Office Suite programs such as Word, PowerPoint,

Outlook, and Teams

Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel
Analytical experience utilizing PowerBi or similar software is a plus
Effective communicator and attentive listener with excellent attention to detail
Self-starter, willing to learn, and capable of managing multiple projects and

priorities in a dynamic, fast paced environment

Excellent written and oral communication skills for senior management reporting

Additional Information:

Salary:
$90-100k plus up to 5% bonus

401(k) program that includes 100% company matching of the first 6% of

employee contributions with immediate vesting.

Employee Stock Purchase Plan (ESPP).
Annual profit-sharing contributions by the company to participants' 401(k)

accounts based on company's annual performance.

Medical, Dental, Prescription, Vision, Life and Disability insurance plans

Pay Details:
$95,000.00 to $100,000.00 per year
