- Provide single point of contact for customers in designated accounts receivable portfolio assignment. Review all delinquent accounts and perform customer service-related collection activities, spearhead next steps and follow-up action plans.
- Analyze and resolve problems by coordinating with appropriate departments to drive operational excellence in the order-to-cash application cycle.
- Respond to external/internal inquiries regarding payment and case escalation status.
- Meet established standards for collection performance.
- Maintain detailed records of customer contact activities.
- Partner with sales organization/dealers/field office management to communicate status of accounts and expedite resolution.
- 2-4 years of commercial collections/customer service experience preferred. Note: will consider college graduates with strong customer centric personality.
- Strong interpersonal skills.
- Proven track record of making 50 or more effective customer contacts daily and the ability to manage portfolio larger than $3M.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
- 4 year college degree desirable.
- Excel skills, and basic knowledge of Oracle or Salesforce desirable.
- Must demonstrate customer centric, analytical and problem-solving skills.

What you will do:
The Portfolio Specialist is a highly regarded collection's professional within the company's Collections Department. Our Collectors are decisive decision makers who contact fifty (50) or more business customers per day and manage a $3M portfolio of up to 4,000 customers. Quadient's high volume, mid to small dollar transaction portfolio includes the following business verticals, leasing, government, national, hard sales, and revolving line of credit.
The ideal candidate will have experience in commercial collections with a customer service mentality, must demonstrate commitment to customer retention, teamwork, and possess the initiative to seek and embrace change through establishing and achieving performance goals.

This position has an hourly pay range of:
$19.38-$29.09Quadient, Inc. has standard ranges for all U.S. - based roles, based on function, level, and scope, which are benchmarked against companies of similar size and growth-stage. Final salary offers are determined by multiple factors, which may include (but are not limited to) geographic location and candidate experience and expertise.
