    Job Overview:

    APTIM's Program Management/Construction Management (PMCM) Division seeks a skilled Project Engineer to oversee construction projects in New York City. The ideal candidate will have experience in managing Design/Build and Design/Bid/Build projects from inception to completion, with a focus on New York City Housing Authority (NYCHA) projects.

    Responsibilities:

    • Manage inspection and project engineering tasks
    • Ensure project compliance with client requirements
    • Lead project meetings and planning sessions
    • Monitor project progress and budget adherence
    • Coordinate construction issue resolutions
    • Oversee construction quality and safety
    • Track project close-out tasks
    • Act as a liaison between Project Manager and field teams
    • Facilitate utility shut-downs and start-ups
    • Implement risk management strategies

    Qualifications:

    • Bachelor's degree in relevant field preferred
    • Certifications such as Certified Construction Manager (CCM) a plus
    • Minimum 3 years of construction management experience required
    • Familiarity with project management systems
    • Proficiency in computer applications
    • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
    • Team player with proactive attitude
    • Ability to work with diverse technical backgrounds
