    My client is a leading general contractor specializing in large-scale industrial construction projects throughout the New York area. We are a team of passionate and experienced professionals committed to delivering exceptional results for our clients.

    About the Role

    • Partner with Project Managers in all phases of large-scale industrial construction projects, including pre-construction, planning, scheduling, budgeting, cost control, and closeout.
    • Provide technical expertise in areas relevant to industrial construction, such as heavy civil, structural steel, mechanical, and electrical systems.
    • Review, analyze, and interpret complex construction documents, including plans, specifications, shop drawings, and technical proposals.
    • Develop and maintain detailed project schedules using advanced project management software (e.g., Primavera P6, MS Project).
    • Proactively identify and mitigate potential risks associated with large-scale industrial projects, implementing effective corrective actions.
    • Conduct regular site inspections, ensuring strict adherence to safety protocols, construction plans, specifications, and quality control standards.
    • Manage Requests for Information (RFIs), change orders, and value engineering proposals.
    • Oversee project documentation and maintain meticulous records for accurate audit trails.
    • Lead or participate in project meetings, providing clear and concise progress reports to stakeholders.
    • Interface with engineers, architects, and subcontractors to resolve technical issues and ensure project alignment.
    About the Candidate
    • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a closely related field, with a focus on industrial construction (PE License a plus).
    • Minimum 5 years of experience in project engineering for large-scale industrial construction projects.
    • In-depth understanding of industrial construction methods, materials, codes, and safety regulations (OSHA 30 & specific industry certifications preferred).
    • Proven ability to manage complex projects with tight schedules and budgets.
    • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a proactive approach to risk management.
    • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.
    • Demonstrated ability to lead and collaborate effectively within a team environment.
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and advanced project management software.
    • Experien ce with Building Information Modeling (BIM) a strong asset.
