POSITION SUMMARY: The Business Analyst role serves as the Operations expert and liaison between Operations and other functional areas.

Essential Functions:

Serves as a key analyst on strategic company initiatives.
Working with management at all levels of the organization to solicit detailed requirements for active and proposed projects.
Working with technology and project management staff to determine feasibility and alternatives of proposed initiatives.
Develop and maintain process flows for all core business areas.
Be a change agent and work with management to facilitate programs that ensure departments within the company have the technical and logistical resources required to transition to new technologies and platforms
Analyze business issues and recommend system controls and protocols to solve organizational issues.
Facilitate creation and ongoing currency of job aids and training programs.

Requirements:

Bachelor's Degree required.
6+ years relevant experience required.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Attention to detail and accuracy required.
Working knowledge of insurance company processes.
Comfortable working in a matrixed environment.

Work Environment / Physical Demands:

Typical office environment
Primarily desk work requiring extensive repetitive motion to key and view information on a personal computer.
Extended hours expected when business needs dictate.

Hybrid Work Schedule: 3 days onsite, up to 2 days remote
