The CDU parliamentary group is the largest opposition group in the state parliament of Rhineland-Palatinate. A total of 31 members represent the concerns and interests of citizens from all regions of Rhineland-Palatinate. We strive to bring in alternative ideas, actively shape state politics with our initiatives, and hold the government accountable. For this, we are looking for support

Responsibilities

As a legal consultant, you will work on a wide range of exciting topics. You will provide legal advice to the parliamentary group leadership and the policy experts. Your tasks will include drafting parliamentary initiatives such as draft laws, motions, and parliamentary inquiries.

You will also support our legal committees and working groups and be involved in the concrete design and development of speeches by members of the state parliament.

You will be the contact person for the members of parliament and the research staff for all legal issues of the parliamentary group.

Qualifications


What you bring:

\- a degree in law (1st and 2nd state examination)

\- a strong interest in state politics and state law topics

\- quick comprehension and analytical thinking skills

\- team-oriented, independent, and time-critical work; willingness to familiarize yourself with complex issues

\- enjoyment of creatively implementing political topics
