Staff Accountant

CFS has partnered with a Healthcare organization looking to onboard a Staff Accountant to support their growing team. This role will be responsible for all day-to-day accounting transactions, the backbone of our financials. You will work closely with the Senior Accountant and Assistant Controller to ensure we're reporting accurately in accordance with GAAP

Responsibilities:

Enter daily cash transactions.
Maintain accounts payable for all subsidiaries and ensure vendor information is up to date.
Create and post journal entries to ensure all business transactions are recorded.
Confirm intercompany accounts balance and resolve out of balances.
Reconcile credit card transactions and request receipts for each department.
Process check requests.
Review and approve expense reports in Concur daily for reimbursements.
Perform monthly reconciliations for P&L and Balance Sheet accounts.

What we are looking for:

3+ years of accounting experience.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Attention to detail.
Demonstrated success working in a deadline driven and multi-tasking environment.
Ability to work independently in a rapidly changing environment.
Advanced Excel skills.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Bachelor's degree in accounting required.
Excellent numerical and analytical skills.
Experience with month end close.
Knowledge of Salesforce CRM, NetSuite, Concur a plus.
