- Responsible for day-to-day operations of the process, Managing the Asset Management Queue, ensuring timely closure of Service Requests/Change Requests Tasks & updating CMDB.
- Change Request Tasks workflow.
- Responsible to coordinate with various teams via their CI Support Owners to ensure the CMDB is updated and discuss any issues that need to be addressed.
- Responsible for working closely with the Change Management Process which is the gateway to the CMDB to address issues like unauthorized changes, leading to faults in the CMDB.
- Responsible for creating and publishing CMDB Audit report and audit tracker and interface with the CI Support owners to ensure remedial action to audit gaps.
- Responsible for creating and publishing CMDB performance reports and driving improvement plans in collaboration with the Process owner.
- Responsible for educating the technology tracks on how to use the CMDB and ensuring they understand their role by the policies and procedures of the Configuration Management Process.
- Responsible for running targeted discovery and reconciling discovered data with the existing CI data.
- Responsible to work with Product Management, development, and QA teams toward defining the right ITAM content for our ITAM customers.
- Responsible to Work as the Customer escalation POC for the team and interacting with customers to help them resolve their issues related to your area of Responsibility.
- Experience (in-depth knowledge) in licensing strategies for various hardware/software.
- Fixing integration issues such as Client Asset Manager integration with SCCM, JAMF, Windows server, and ESX host for discovering the attribute values and updating them in CMDB.
- Collaborate with Procurement and Global FS Managers and define a process for providing required attributes for End Users.
- Responsible to develop and manage the HAM lifecycle process that tracks assets from point of its deployment until it has retired machines.
- Experience in one or more ITAM Tools (including ServiceNow Hardware Asset Management / Client Asset Manager).
- Primary responsibility is performing asset reconciliation for DC devices, Networking and Security devices, and End-user devices to ensure CMDB Completeness and accuracy.
- Collaborate with the Procurement team for creating CMDB Health Dashboard for Executive Decision Making and RU Billing.
- Ensure smooth and seamless backend support concerning Assets LifeCycle Management.
- To complete physical verification once in a year Generate variance report based on the physically verified data concerning FAR and ITSM Database.
- Ensure inventory of all the assets with User details for all the assets that are allocated are updated in the ITSM tool on regular basis.
- Ensure Laptop and Desktop allocation is done within the SLA and requisite stock levels are maintained at any given point in time.
- rrange and Participate in Vendor Service Meetings highlighting and tracking issues till closure.
