As a Marine Sales Representative you will be responsible for introducing new and used product to buyers and grow the sales footprint of our current and future products in the market.

    What You'll do

    • Identify and self-cultivate opportunities to increase awareness and interest in the River Valley brands (both the dealership and the manufacturer brands it represents)
    • Prompt follow-up and communication with prospective customers or leads generated
    • Make every effort to achieve all metrics and goals as presented by management
    • Continuously become a product expert for all makes and models, understanding the differences and similarities
    • Establish, develop, and maintain positive business and customer relationships
    • Assist with the organization and implementation of multiple events supporting sales in the market
    • Represent River Valley in a professional and responsible manner when communicating and interacting with others regarding the dealership and its products both inside and outside the company
    • Display professional appearance and demeanor
    • Working collaboratively and professionally with respective departments to ensure customer satisfaction
    • Follow the established sales process from start to finish
    • Ensure customer satisfaction before, during, and after the sale

    What You'll Bring

    • Confident and Persuasive communication skills
    • High School Diploma is required
    • Some school or relevant experience is required
    • Ability to multitask and stay organized
    • Personal interest in the industry is a bonus
    • Emotional intelligence
    • Self-motivation and desire to be successful is required

    Schedule: The minimum schedule to perform in office is Mon-Fri 8:30a-6p, Saturday 8:30a-3p (Rotating Saturday off as approved by management. When a Saturday is worked, a day off during the during the week is given)

    Compensation: Average earnings range from $101,000 to $246,000. In 2022 an average boat sales representative at RVPS earned $100,00+, while a top-performers earned $250,000. The pay structure is commission based with a monthly (biweekly paid) draw salary. **Onboarding & Training Period (6 months) = $5,000 month guarantee
