Description

We are seeking an experienced Commercial Superintendent to join our team. The Commercial Superintendent will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of commercial construction projects, including multi-family and non-residential projects, ensuring they are completed to the highest standards of quality and safety.

Responsibilities:

Manage all on-site activities, including scheduling, coordination, and supervision of subcontractors and suppliers.
Ensure compliance with project plans, specifications, and building codes throughout the construction process.
Implement and enforce safety protocols and quality control measures to maintain a safe and productive work environment.
Monitor project progress and identify potential issues or delays, implementing solutions to keep projects on track.
Collaborate with project managers, architects, engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure project goals are achieved.
Conduct regular site inspections to assess work quality, progress, and adherence to project timelines.
Communicate effectively with clients, keeping them informed of project status, milestones, and any changes or updates.
Provide leadership and direction to on-site personnel, fostering teamwork and a positive work culture.
Manage project documentation, including daily reports, change orders, and as-built drawings.
Ensure proper maintenance and care of equipment and tools on-site.

Qualifications:

Proven experience as a Commercial Superintendent or similar role in commercial construction.
Steel frame or wood frame construction experience
Thorough knowledge of commercial construction methods, materials, and building codes.
Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire on-site teams.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively with clients, subcontractors, and team members.
Ability to read and interpret construction plans, drawings, and specifications.
Proficiency in construction management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
OSHA certification and knowledge of safety regulations and best practices.
Bachelor's degree in construction management, engineering, or a related field is preferred.
