- Successfully develop concept through final GMP estimates
- Deep involvement in creation and pricing of site logistics plans
- Perform quantity take-offs of key construction systems
- Create project estimates individually and with a team
- Solicit subcontractor pricing for budgeting and bid proposals through use of Building Connected
- Development of project specific bid documents
- Scope and select subcontractors based on best value and project requirements
- Build and develop local cost intelligence
- Support the development, architectural, and construction team with preconstruction expertise including design management, value design, cost tracking through design evolution, procurement, and project pursuits
- Provide leadership and mentorship to estimators and Project Management staff
- Provide direction for understanding project scope, market pricing, and available resources
- Assist clients and developers with conceptual budgets of all types of construction
- Capable of cost modeling using Uniformat II and CSI
- Understand construction means and methods, building types, and procurement methods
- Have proficiency with CSI and Uniformat II work breakdown structures
- Demonstrate deep knowledge of Microsoft Excel, OST, Bluebeam, Destini, Building Connected and MS Project
- Bring well established subcontractor and designer relationships to the organization
