Schedule:

OPEN POSITION:

The Food Service Worker role involves various tasks related to food preparation, setup, and serving. The individual will be responsible for ensuring cleanliness and sanitation in work areas.

The key responsibilities include:

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES:

Follows recipes and product directions.
Estimates food quantities needed.
Handles kitchen utensils to prepare and store food.
Assists in preparing hot and cold dishes while adhering to storage guidelines.
Maintains workstations in line with service standards.
Keeps records and requests supplies as necessary.
Ensures cleanliness following safety protocols.
Arranges food stations with various items.
Stocks service areas.
Serves food and cleans stations.
Prepares beverages and assists in distributing food.
Interacts with customers in dining areas.
Assists customers with food-related requests.
Handles dishwashing and cleaning duties.
Cleans work areas thoroughly.
Manages waste disposal efficiently.
Transfers supplies between areas.
Follows safety and sanitation guidelines.
Attends training programs as required.
Other duties as assigned by the Supervisor.

SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE REQUIRED:

Effective communication skills.
Ability to delegate and develop team members.
Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.
Commercial cooking experience.
ServSafe Food Handler Certification required.
Flexible work schedule availability.
Security clearance may be needed.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

High school diploma or equivalent.
Minimum 1 year of experience in commercial food service.
