- Develop and deliver training programs tailored to the needs of CDC DHAP IT systems users, including end users, administrators, and internal IT staff.
- Create engaging and effective training materials such as manuals, online learning modules, and interactive tutorials.
- Conduct needs assessments with stakeholders to determine the training requirements and customize programs accordingly.
- Facilitate both in-person and virtual training sessions, workshops, and seminars.
- Evaluate the effectiveness of training programs and implement improvements based on feedback and analysis.
- Bachelor's degree in Education, Training, Human Resources, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in designing and delivering IT-related training programs.
- Proven ability to develop curriculum and training materials for both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Experience with modern training technologies and educational methodologies, including e-learning and multimedia technology.
- Experience in training within public health, healthcare, or government settings.
- Background in training users on health data systems or related IT applications.
- Certified Professional in Learning and Performance (CPLP).
- Certified Technical Trainer (CTT+).

Client Information:
The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention's (CDC) Division of HIV Prevention (DHP) focus on high impact prevention of HIV-by preventing new HIV infections, improving health outcomes for persons with HIV, and reducing HIV related disparities and health inequities.
DHP develops and maintains a variety of data and information systems to support its mission, including systems to collect, transmit, store, and analyze data for HIV/AIDS surveillance, epidemiology, and program monitoring and evaluation. We are looking for IT and public health partners including statisticians, researchers, behavioral scientists, computer scientists, public health advisors/analysts, budget analysts, and other program staff.
