    About The Job
    Dudek is seeking an experienced Environmental Health and Safety Manager to join our team.

    The ideal candidate will have 4-7 years of experience in environmental health and safety management and will be responsible for ensuring compliance with all applicable environmental, health, and safety regulations.

    Duties and Responsibilities (may include some or all of the below):

    Responsible for Practice and project compliance with local, state and federal environmental health and safety regulations.
    Partners with Project Managers to provide review of project safety plans and site specific training protocols.
    Assists in organizing, monitoring, and reporting on department programs.

    Plans, and delivers safety training programs via in person sessions, webinars, as well as in our Learning Management System (LMS).

    Schedules regular safety observations and job hazard analysis to identify facility and jobsite hazards.
    Oversees and participates in the reporting and investigation of workplace incidents.
    Leads the Company's Safety Committee.
    Responsible for all safety related recordkeeping including annual OSHA reporting.
    Implements and trains practices on project safety paperwork and requirements.
    Develop and maintain OSHA Log and all appropriate documentation
    Coordinating to ensure that OSHA reporting, metrics, and logs are posted at every Dudek Office.
    Tracking metrics and ensuring compliance with the Safety Dashboard, including Good Catch, Near Miss, First-aid, Recordables, and MVIs.
    Conducting incident investigations (e.g., injuries, incidents, MVI's, good catch/near miss) for various practices. This includes the investigation process, partnering with HR (as needed), and completing investigation reports.
    Responsible for all aspects of Workers Compensation.
    Inputting and maintaining data and trainings on client portals.
    Updating client portals. This includes weekly/monthly updates, program development, questionnaires, and client-specific requirements.
    Assist in EHS program development, review, and implementation.
    Strong understanding of project paperwork and requirements.
    Good problem-solving skills in dynamic and evolving safety culture.
    Minimum Requirements

    Associate degree in environmental science, Occupational Health and Safety, or a related field.
    4-7 years of experience in environmental health and safety field.
    Knowledge of environmental, health, and safety standards, regulations, and best practices.
    Basic understanding of Hazard recognition, controls, and program implementation.
    Competent in Microsoft Office Suite
    Excellent written, communication, and interpersonal skills
    Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
    Strong ability to work independently and in a team environment
    Must possess a valid driver's license and have active personal automobile liability insurance by first day of employment


    • As a federal contractor, successful candidates are required to pass the following pre-employment requirements prior to beginning employment: pre - employment drug test and background check.
    Preferred Qualifications

    Bachelor's degree in environmental science, occupational health and safety, or a related field
    CHST/OHST or similar
    OSHA Certifications

    OSHA 510
    OSHA 30 Hour

    Physical Requirements

    Working Conditions:


    This job operates in a remote or office-based environment and this role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, printers, etc.

    This job requires occasional project site visits-based outdoors which can include excessive noise, uneven walking surfaces, extreme weather, moving vehicles and equipment.

    The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met in order to successfully perform the essential functions of the job.


    This job requires working on a computer, sitting or standing for long periods of time in an office or remote office setting.

    This job requires attending meetings, both in person and virtually as well as speaking on the phone with peers, clients, etc.

    Speaking, hearing and listening are required.

    Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.

    Outdoor activity may involve walking/trekking in uneven terrain over long distances in extreme weather conditions for extended periods of time.

    Proposed Salary Range:
    $80,000 - $105,000 per year

    *Final agreed upon compensation will be based on a variety of factors including but not limited to an individual's related experience, education, certifications, skills, and work location.
