    • Position Summary:


    Responsible for performing varied complex electrical testing procedures for units, systems, parts, or processes to ensure that product conforms and complies to design specifications.

    Essential Duties and Responsibilities

    include the following. Other duties may be assigned.


    Performs complex mechanical and electrical tests to ensure that physical characteristics, mechanical operations, and electrical functions conform to design and industry standards.

    Assesses defects and malfunctions and makes recommendations for improvement to Mechanical Design Engineers, Electrical Design Engineers, and management.


    Works closely with Production and Design Engineering teams to improve test methods and to resolve problems of manufacturing assembly and/or process nature.

    Processes required test inspection documents for record and approval for shipment.

    Troubleshoots electrical switchgear controls.

    Performs other duties as assigned.

    On-site attendance is a requirement for this position.

    Ability to work variable work hours (weekends and holidays) as needed to maintain operational responsibilities and meet customer commitments.

    Education and/or Experience Required

    Electrical Engineering Degree


    Knowledge and Skills:
    Minimum 1 year experience in switchgear; mechanical or electrical system testing is a plus

    Safety Training, prior field experience a plus

    Proficient in the following applications:
    Excel, Word, and Outlook.

    Troubleshooting capabilities, problem resolution, critical thinking and decision making skills.
