The Safety Coordinator position is responsible for developing and implementing safety and/or health programs,reviewing reports for compliance with safety protocols and performing safety inspections.
Responsibilities may include, but are not limited to:
EXPERIENCE, TRAINING, OR SKILLS: Two years of experience in safety operations or inspection, incident management, or emergency services.
Substitute EDUCATION for EXPERIENCE: NONE
Substitute EXPERIENCE for EDUCATION: Additional administrative, safety operations and/or inspection, incident management, or emergency services experience will substitute for the required education on a year-for-year basis.
SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS (AGE, LICENSURE, REGULATION, ETC.): NONE Working Conditions Incumbent must be able to make oral presentations and conduct training sessions for small to large groups.
