    Ready to join us?

    Summary:

We're looking for a Senior/Lead Product Designer to support us in our mission to shape our product experience for our Demio platform and integrations. This is a unique opportunity to work on an early stage, fast-growing product. You'll have end-to-end ownership of challenging design projects – from research all the way to final execution and validation – and help shape the future of the product. In this pivotal role, you will not only own the product design vision but also have a proven track record of having done so successfully in the past.

    What you'll do:

As a Senior Product Designer, you'll be part of the Demio design team, working alongside our product and engineering teams to build new features and improve the current product experience. In this role, you'll be driving complex and high-impact design projects requiring a broad set of skills and will be responsible for leading the design vision and growing the capabilities of our design initiatives.

    Core Responsibilities:

    • Lead the holistic design strategy and innovation for Demio, fostering a seamless user experience through internal and external collaboration.
    • Deep understanding of design principles, human psychology, and technology trends to guide design decisions effectively.
    • Illustrate how details fit into a bigger picture for the users, product, platform, and socialize it with stakeholders, partners, and other designers.
    • Communicate strategy, vision, and potential improvement solutions.
    • Be responsible for executive-level storytelling that elaborates on the problem, root cause, and design solutions that encompass the overall strategy of Demio.
    • Collaborate to shape design systems and maintain a consistent experience.
    • Advocate for and enhance the Demio brand experience within the design efforts and across cross-functional teams.
    • Establish a strategic partnership with PM and Engineering, utilizing research, wireframing, prototyping, and testing to translate complex ideas into user-centric solutions.
    • Drive consensus among the team by aligning perspectives on sustainable, high-quality design solutions.
    • Take a smart and calculated risk to drive a design decision. The decision will always be for the strategic growth and quality of the Demio product.
    • Articulate your vision and rationale through various design artifacts, and deliver complete solutions for the product and design organization.

    About you:

    • Optimistic, proactive, and forward-thinking attitude.
    • Enjoys establishing authentic human connections, and fostering meaningful interactions.
    • Have a design foresight for the future and are passionate about making an impact on the Demio business and design.
    • Can identify issues and be able to mitigate for the sustainability and quality of the product.
    • Embraces ambiguity and works creatively to uncover innovative solutions amidst uncertainty.
    • Welcomes diverse perspectives to enhance the decision-making process.
    • Demonstrated experience in owning a product design vision and successfully leading design initiatives in past roles.

    Basic Qualifications:

    • 7+ years of hands-on experience in professional UX/UI product design implementing user-centered design best practices while addressing complex problems.
    • Strong knowledge of user experience design processes and methodology for web apps.
    • Background in interaction design, systems design, front-end development, or enterprise design of large-scale where a design approach has been applied.

    • Proficiency with Figma (our primary design tool).
    • Flexibility and openness to the iterative design process – constantly sketching, showing work in progress, validating with customers and data, iterating, shipping, learning, and growing.
    • Experience working with and contributing to design systems.
    • A passion for creating products that balance function and emotional impact on people.
    • Accustomed to ensuring accessibility in all design processes.
    • Experienced in executing end-to-end design projects and building design systems and new product features from the ground up.
