Safety & Compliance Coordinator (Part-time) - Wauconda, United States - Fidelitone
Description
The Compliance Coordinator will be responsible for maintaining a relationship with Independent Contractors to ensure the contractor is adheres to all safety and regulatory guidelines including DOT.
This person will assist in maintaining files and perform data entry into the various systems.ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
- Process, track, and report compliance in all areas of background checks, drug tests, MVR reporting per customer compliance requirements
- Verify and maintain insurance is valid
- Confirm DOT operating status is approved
- Record and maintain data in various databases
- Metric reporting
- Assist with onboarding Independent Contractors
- Writes and maintains SOPs
- Other duties as assigned
Required Skills:
SKILLS & ABILITIES:
- Microsoft Office experience required
- Intermediate to proficient in excel (Pivot tables, v lookup)
- Intermediate in MS word
- Knowledge of Share Point a plus
- Good verbal and written communication skills
- DOT knowledge and/or experience a plus
- Handles confidential and nonroutine information
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:
- Associates Degree preferred
- 12 Years' office experience
- Previous experience writing SOP's preferred
- Previous experience in Safety and Compliance a plus
