Description
Main Duties & Responsibilities:
Primary Job Role
Creates and monitors a system of controls, procedures, and forms for the recording of fixed assets.
Recommends to management any updates to accounting policies related to fixed assets.
Records fixed assets by creating and supervising a system of procedures, forms, and controls.
Records fixed asset acquisitions and dispositions in the accounting system.
Tracks the compilation of project costs into fixed asset accounts, and close out those accounts once the related projects have been completed.
Reconciles the balance in the fixed asset software to the accounts in the general ledger.
Calculates depreciation for all fixed assets and conduct analyses related to fixed assets as requested by management.
Reviews and updates the detailed schedule of fixed assets and accumulated depreciation.
Performs other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:Education and Experience
Formal Education Bachelor's Degree in a related area of study
Experience 3-4 years

Experience with Microsoft Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook), proficient at Excel.
